This 100% onsite role is based in Regina, Saskatchewan, requiring hands-on governance, executive reporting, stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, and change management to deliver on strategic objectives.

Qualifications

  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification required.
  • Experience with GOS or similar government IT landscapes.
  • Extensive IT project management in a public sector environment.
  • Complex projects with multiple stakeholders, vendors and cloud integrations.
  • Governance, reporting, and audit experience in IT projects.
  • Experience leading executive steering committees and project boards.
  • Proven track record delivering IT projects on time and within budget.
  • 10+ years of project management experience emphasizing workload management.
  • Strong stakeholder communication across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the Detailed Project Plan in collaboration with the Project Leadership Team.
  • Produce and obtain sponsor approval for the Project Plan.
  • Deliver IT projects per PMI-aligned methodologies and standards.
  • Manage governance processes, audits, and reporting across the project lifecycle.
  • Establish and facilitate executive steering committees and governance artifacts.
  • Ensure timely risk and issue escalation with transparent reporting to sponsors.
  • Lead change management activities including stakeholder engagement and training.
  • Deliver project outcomes on time, within budget, and within scope.

Visionpool Business Services is hiring a PROJECT MANAGER whowillbe responsible forleading projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and project closure. Responsibilities include scope, schedule, budget, resource, quality, risk, issue, dependency, and stakeholder management while ensuring alignment with policies, standards, governance requirements, and strategic objectives.In addition, the Project Manager willbe responsible forestablishingand maintaining project governance structures, preparing executive-level reports and presentations,facilitatingsteering committee meetings and stakeholder workshops, overseeing vendor performance, and ensuringappropriate projectcontrols and accountability measures are maintained. THE POSITION IS A 100% ONSITE ROLE WITH A REQUIREMENT TO WORK IN-PERSON INREGINA, SASKATCHEWAN

Responsibilities:
  • Develop the Detailed Project Plan in consultation with the Project Leadership Team.
  • Produce the Project Plan and obtain Project Sponsor approval.
  • Ensure the project is deliveredin accordance withestablished project management methodologies, standards, processes, and documentation aligned with Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices.
  • Manage and deliver IT projects for multiplelients, ensuring adherence to governance processes, stage-gate approvals, audit requirements, reporting obligations, and established project management standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Establish, support, andfacilitateproject governance structures, including executive steering committees, toenabletimelydecision-making, stakeholder alignment, issue and risk escalation, and documented governance outcomes.
  • Facilitate ongoing stakeholder engagement and communication throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring stakeholders receivetimely,accurate, and audience-appropriate project information.
  • Lead and execute organizational change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, impact assessments, readiness assessments, training, and user adoption planning.
  • Deliver project outcomes on time, within budget, andin accordance withapproved scope, quality standards, and projectobjectives.
  • Ensure project deliverables comply with applicable technical standards, policies, and requirements.
  • Facilitate the integration and coordination of project interdependencies and touchpoints across related initiatives, whererequired.
  • Monitor, manage, and report on project performance, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and quality.
  • Identify, assess, monitor, mitigate, and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Providetimelycommunications and reportingregardingproject risks, issues, decisions, and concerns to the project team, project sponsors, and key stakeholders.
  • Organize andfacilitateworkshops, meetings, presentations, and working sessions involving diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors, service providers, and business partners to ensure their activities and deliverables are integrated into the overall project plan and implementation approach.
  • Develop and manage project change requests related to scope, schedule, budget, and resources, including communicating impacts and obtaining the necessary approvals.
  • Identify, communicate, and manage changes to project resource requirements and support resource planning activities asrequired.
Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)orPRINCE2 certification.
  • Demonstratedexperience withGOS, or comparable entities, as it relates to the technical and business landscape. Describe in detail.
  • Demonstrated experience as a practicing Project Manager managing different, complex projects in an IT environment.
  • Complex is defined as a project with multiple stakeholders,vendorsand complex cloud integrations
  • Demonstrated experience delivering Information Technology (IT) projects in a public sector environment (government, Crown corporation,healthcare, education, or regulated public entity), including operating within formal governance, approvals, and audit requirements.
  • Demonstrated experienceoperatingwithin formal project governance structures, including executive steering committees, project boards, and decision-making forums. Responses should describe executive reporting responsibilities, governance artifacts produced, and experience supporting senior leadership decision making.
  • Proven record of achievement as a Project Managerdemonstratingsignificant experiencein successfully working in an IT project environment with an ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Significant is defined as experience greater than ten years. The response should also place an emphasis on managing workloads.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively planning, executing, and adapting stakeholder communicationson complex IT projects, involving diverse business, technical, vendor, and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience successfully managing team resources, systems development, estimating effort and costs, and planning and scheduling project activities.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and managing project management documentation. Examples would include project plans, schedule, projectbudgetand change orders as well as project status reports
  • Experience integrating Organizational change management practices into IT project delivery.
  • Change management certifications (if applicable).
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
