Job summary

NPAworldwide in Rosemont, Ontario is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own the execution of industrial automation projects, from single-robot cells to multi-robot assembly and welding systems, for a growing integration company.

This role leads projects from kickoff through customer acceptance, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met while building strong customer relationships and guiding engineering, controls, manufacturing and installation teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management, or 4+ years specifically in automotive/automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• PMP or equivalent project management certification an asset
• Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments
• Solid grasp of PLC/robot programming, tooling design, and controls integration (literacy required)
• G2/G class driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Own project scope, schedule, budget, and risk from order intake through final buyoff
• Manage multiple automation projects of varying size and complexity at the same time
• Lead quoting, process planning, detailed schedules, resource plans, and cost tracking
• Lead kickoffs, design reviews, internal milestones, and customer reviews
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead meetings with team leads and question technical decisions across controls and programming
• Oversee commissioning and validation, and delegate site tasks to junior staff
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across mechanical design, controls, tooling, manufacturing, and installation
• Identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and commercial risks
