Job summary

Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd (Vanpile) in North Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Project Manager (Marine Projects) to lead complex, high-impact marine construction from concept to completion.

The role requires 5–8 years in project management for marine/heavy civil work, registrable as AScT or EIT/P.Eng. in BC, with strong scheduling, cost control, and client liaison, within a family‑owned company dedicated to excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of project management experience in marine or heavy civil construction.
• Currently registered or eligible to register as an AScT or EIT/P.Eng. in BC.
• Expertise in marine techniques, foundations, cranes, barges, and driven piles.
• Strong knowledge of contract documentation, scheduling, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Microsoft Office, and construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Leading daily operations and ensuring alignment with project plans and specifications.
• Preparing and managing construction schedules, contracts, and progress reports.
• Negotiating revisions and managing subcontractor relationships.
• Overseeing job cost forecasting, billing, and financial reporting.
• Acting as a client liaison and supporting business development.
• Mentoring junior staff and promoting a strong Health, Safety & Environment culture.

• Valid driver’s license and excellent English communication skills
