AGA Financial Group inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Leader to drive strategic transformations across business, operations, technology and governance.

You will report to the PMO and partner with Enterprise Architecture to deliver complex programs that shape the operating model and strategic outcomes. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, budgets, risks and timelines in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading organizational or digital transformation projects.
  • Experience working with executive committees and senior leaders.
  • Experience in highly regulated environments is an asset.

Your mandate will consist in:

Your mandate will consist of leading strategic initiatives involving business, operations, technology, data, and governance. You will report to the Project Management Office (PMO) and work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering complex projects that directly contribute to the evolution of the organization’s operating model and the achievement of its strategic objectives. Your role will involve mobilizing and coordinating multidisciplinary teams, ensuring rigorous oversight of timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables, and maintaining strong alignment between project execution and organizational priorities. You need to demonstrate strong leadership, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to successfully drive complex initiatives in a dynamic and evolving environment. Your main tasks will include:
Strategic Project Leadership
  • Lead transformation projects;
  • Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria;
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and implementation plans;
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle;
  • Coordinate business, operational, and technology teams.
Execution and Governance
  • Establish governance structures tailored to each project;
  • Facilitate project committees and steering committee meetings;
  • Prepare executive dashboards and status reports;
  • Monitor risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies;
  • Facilitate and obtain the necessary decisions and approvals to keep projects moving forward.
Collaboration with Enterprise Architecture
  • Work closely with Enterprise Architects to understand target architectures;
  • Ensure projects remain aligned with transformation objectives;
  • Ensure project decisions comply with established architecture and governance principles.
Change Management
  • Identify the organizational impacts of change;
  • Coordinate communication, training, and change support activities;
  • Engage managers and key stakeholders;
  • Foster team adoption of new processes and ways of working;
  • Ensure a smooth transition to newly implemented solutions.
Vendor and Partner Management
  • Coordinate work performed by external partners and vendors;
  • Participate in procurement and evaluation processes;
  • Ensure compliance with contractual commitments;
  • Monitor costs, deliverables, and service levels.
Required Qualifications:
Experience

Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management;

Minimum of 5 years of experience leading organizational or digital transformation projects;

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously;

Experience working with executive committees and senior leaders;

Experience working in highly regulated environments is considered an asset.
