Job Description - Project Manager, Fintech
The program implementation manager is responsible for stewarding critical enterprise investments and driving the delivery of transformational change by providing leadership and direction to assigned programs. The program manager is responsible for leading efforts in implementing multiple technologies and/or business project initiatives.
Planning and monitoring program execution in accordance with existing governance models and frameworks
Recommends and implements process improvements and strategies for enabling project and program success at scale
Serves as an expert in project and program management processes and best practices
Interfaces with key stakeholder groups, including the Merchant Transformation Management Office and regional business partners to align on program status, reporting and risk management
Works collaboratively with Project and Program Managers to document and manage key risks and issues
Proactively set performance expectations and help project managers manage expectations of delivery and requirements, yielding consistent results
Provide steady leadership in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines common to a rapidly growing company with an evolving business model
Manage communication with executive leadership on a regular cadence; communication to include but not be limited to status reports, topics for escalation, action items for the executive steering committee(s)
Lead cross-functional meetings and foster teamwork; drive escalation and resolution of issues
Manage all aspects of a given program
Ensure that the scope of the projects within the program align with business priorities
Support and coach project managers within the program
Review program budget variance and scope change requests and take the lead in the budget-resolution process
Address escalated cost issues with project manager(s), as needed
Address escalated resourcing issues with project manager(s) and resource manager(s), as needed
Additional duties as assigned
Proven ability to build and lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations across multiple sites, worldwide

Adept at helping team members harness and develop strengths in pursuit of successful program outcomes
Ability to promote innovative ideas and accept the risks that are required to lead change
Ability to achieve broadly communicated objectives with a minimal amount of supervision

Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and financial skills
Desired Skills And Capabilities
Knowledge of project and program management concepts and best practices, including traditional and Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and best practices.
Knowledge of organizational governance models in large organizations and at-scale
Ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Ability to Interface with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Ability to receive little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
Ability to interface with various key stakeholders for feedback, but generally works independently and autonomously to achieve the objectives of the role
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Understanding of business processes and organizational structures.
Knowledgeable of PMBOK and process improvement methodologies
Familiar with Google G-Suite, Smartsheets, Lucid Charts
Familiar with agile tools (ie, DevOps, Jira, Rally)
Familiar with Cloud technologies and Data Center Infrastructure
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 8 Years Relevant And Related Experience
Work experience in a large global company, 10K+ employees
Work experience in a large technology organization, 1K+ technology employees
Work experience in a large PMO, 50+ PMO employees
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer 10 Years Relevant experience in project/program management
PMP certification
And/or Scrum Master certification
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $79.31 - $79.31/hr.
