Description:

1. Oversees the activities of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery.
2. Manages and prioritizes the project stream, working with internal customers to determine project definition and business requirements.
3. Provides budget analysis, resource allocation, and coordination of project activities that may be across functional areas within the organization.
4. Assigns and monitors work of technical personnel, ensuring that project steps are in alignment with business objectives, on-time and within budget.
5. Monitors reliability and addresses any internal issues that appear as a result of the project.
6. Develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
7. Ensures correct staffing levels on programs and that competencies match the project’s needs.
8. Prepares detailed schedules to track the program progress daily, assesses costs and estimates to complete, and develops work-around plans as needed to meet cost and schedule objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree, Bachelor's or higher in engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of program/project management or project engineering experience in a related technical field.
• Experience with negotiations, risk management, contract management, subcontract management, financials, and US ITAR regulations.
• Strong communication skills.
