Job description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work directly with Engineering, Production, H&S, and Customers on the seamless execution of landed projects.
2. Ensure all work is completed on budget, on time, and in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
3. Ensure all field crews have the equipment, materials, and appropriately-skilled personnel to complete the project.
4. Adhere to all project management policies and procedures.
5. Review projects with Project Coordinators, foremen, and onsite crews.
6. Work with Field Services scheduler, purchasing, etc., to resolve any anticipated staffing needs/changes and material purchases to avoid project delays.
7. Responsible for quality control of all completed work both onsite and in-house.
8. Gather all necessary project information and costs for the purposes of compiling and writing up change notices and out-of-scope work (extras).
9. Work with purchaser, suppliers, and vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
10. Work with TMG finance team to ensure all paperwork (customer files, job files, and quotes) are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
11. Participate in weekly production meetings.
12. May prepare accurate job estimates as part of an assigned portfolio.

Requirements:

• Relevant industry work experience.
• Post-secondary education preferred with a background in mechanical design or engineering.
• Relevant trade certification an asset.
• PMP certification or desire to pursue.
• First Aid trained.
• Strong organizational, time, and budget management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD True View.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, with preference for experience working with Microsoft NAV Dynamics.
• Willing and able to travel to customer locations as needed.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
