Long View Systems in Edmonton is seeking a vibrant and meticulous Project Manager to lead large and complex IT projects within our PMO. You will coordinate technology teams and clients to achieve objectives on time and within budget using our Project Delivery Framework.

The role demands 5+ years delivering IT projects for enterprise clients, strong governance, budget tracking, and outstanding communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering IT projects for enterprise clients.
• Proven project management experience across core infrastructure and data centers.
• M365 rollouts and upgrades; Windows server/desktop upgrades.
• Cloud migrations and governance/budget tracking proficiency.
• Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder management.
• Strong time management and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a project plan to fit client needs and budget.
• Define scope, deliverables, timelines and required resources.
• Manage project budget, team resources, communications and plans.
• Monitor progress, risks and issues; escalate as needed.
• Lead client meetings, provide status updates and summaries.
• Oversee vendor relationships and statements of work.
• Act as primary interface to client business units across project phases.

We are looking for a vibrant and meticulous Project Manager for our Edmonton branch who is passionate about delivering large and complex projects! You will be a member of our PMO responsible for leading teams of technology experts and clients to deliver agreed upon objectives, on time and within budget to the existing Project Delivery Framework.

A Day in the Life:

• Use Long View’s project management methodologies to create and manage a project plan to fit the client’s needs and deliver within budget on desired outcomes of the project
• Work closely with different Long View business units to define the project scope, deliverables, timelines and required resources to ensure project members understand what is expected of them and what they should expect from one another
• Manage the project budget, team resources, communications, and project plans
• Monitor and report on project progress and problems
• Identify and resolve risks and issues in a timely manner
• Escalate concerns to the project team and senior management when appropriate
• Recommend solutions to the client
• Provide direction and support to the implementation team and review deliverables prepared by the team
• Organize and lead meetings with clear objectives and communicate meeting summary minutes
• Oversee and monitor all management reports on specified projects
• Manage all vendor relationships related specifically to the project and monitor statements of work to maintain accountability on the contract deliverables
• Act as primary interface to client business units during all phases of the project

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience delivering IT projects for enterprise clients
• Proven experience managing projects in the following disciplines
• Core infrastructure and data center
• M365 rollouts and upgrades
• Windows server and desktop upgrades
• Cloud Migrations
• Excellent knowledge of project management principles, governance frameworks, stakeholder management, status reporting, escalation procedures and budget tracking and management
• Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis
• Self-motivation and ability to be assertive
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Exceptional time management, writing and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, MS Project

$80,455 - $105,598 a year

Expected Salary Range plus 10% variable earnings
