Caterpillar’s MineStar Implementation Team PMO within the Resource Industries Sales, Services and Technology (RISST) division is hiring a Project Manager.

As a Project Manager, you will manage complex projects and deploy Caterpillar Mining technology products. Your responsibilities include developing scope documents, managing project plans and schedules, and monitoring progress while addressing issues and risks. You will follow traditional project management methodologies and support commercial proposals.

In this role, you will work with cutting-edge technologies, from productivity-driving applications to fully autonomous vehicles operating on surface and underground environments.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the execution of small to medium-scale technology implementation projects.
• Align, lead, plan, and manage resources for project activities; own and manage input to the Implementation Project Plan.
• Understand trade-offs to maintain enterprise perspective and customer focus during planning and execution.
• Participate in quoting and collaborate on tender responses.

What You Have:

• Project Administration: Knowledge of effective project management strategies; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, especially involving technology.
• Tactical and Strategic Planning: Knowledge of planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational, tactical, and strategic planning supporting the business plan.
• Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools; ability to monitor, update, and enhance existing processes.
• Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of data collection and reporting tools and techniques.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

This position requires full-time work in the Edmonton, AB or Calgary, AB office. Domestic relocation is available. The role involves 25% travel. Sponsorship is not available.
