Job description

Alberco Construction is a General Contractor focused on the Bridge and Water Infrastructure industry. Our office is located in St. Albert, Alberta. In addition to General Contracting, Alberco self-performs cast-in-place concrete.

Alberco completes projects in the Edmonton, Red Deer and northern Alberta areas. Our projects range from $10k to $150M.

Alberco is currently looking for a Project Manager as described below.

Work Responsibilities

The role of the Project Manager at Alberco is Start to Finish on our projects :

  • Bringing on Subcontractors, Issuing Subcontracts
  • Budgeting, Procurement, Cost Control, Scheduling
  • In-house temporary works engineering (if applicable)
  • Monthly Reporting

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required :

  • E.I.T. or P.Eng. registered with APEGA, or C.E.T. registered with ASET
  • Minimum 3 Years as a Project Manager managing similar projects (Bridges / Water)
  • Strong technical knowledge of Civil Construction in Alberta

The following will be considered an asset :

  • 5+ Years previously as a Project Coordinator or similar Role
  • Client / Owner or Consultant References

Compensation

  • 110k to 180k per year plus profit sharing
  • 5% RRSP matching

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, interacts well with people and excels in a role where they are self-driven to complete the project.
