Position Overview
The Project Manager develops relationships with Adjusters and Insurance Companies, determines project scope, and ensures timely and high-quality completion of restoration projects to bring properties back to pre-loss condition.
What You Will Do
  • Prepare detailed scopes and estimates for insurance and non-insurance jobs
  • Respond promptly to emergency claims, identify causes of loss
  • Research project requirements and execute work per Service Level Agreements
  • Confirm deductibles and obtain payment before starting repairs
  • Manage project components, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely restoration
  • Coordinate activities with clients, trades, and subcontractors
  • Oversee daily project activities, maintain schedules, and control costs
  • Handle change requests and unforeseen issues
  • Monitor progress and costs, provide regular updates to clients
  • Review plans for code compliance and permit requirements
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure project compliance
  • Manage permit applications and documentation
  • Review quotes, estimates, and change orders
  • Participate in on-call rotations
Qualifications
  • Construction, Building Technology Diploma, Engineering Degree, or equivalent
  • Professional certifications such as C.E.T, Gold Seal Constructor, PMP are assets
  • Minimum three years’ experience in insurance restoration or construction project management
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong understanding of construction trades and techniques
  • Results-oriented with excellent multitasking and prioritization skills
