About the Job

As a Technical Project Manager, you will provide onboarding, training, and implementation support for our SaaS products, helping new and existing customers integrate our solutions into their technical environments. You’ll work closely with Sales, Customer Support, and Product Development teams to ensure a smooth post-sale transition, while guiding customers through setup, integration, and adoption. This role plays a key part in helping customers realize long-term value and success with our products.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will provide onboarding, training, and implementation support for our SaaS products, helping new and existing customers integrate our solutions into their technical environments.   • Has experience leading projects in a technical, SaaS, or software environment.
  • Can manage onboarding, training, and integrations with enterprise customers.
  • Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Is comfortable facilitating meetings, training, and customer presentations.
  • Can keep complex projects on track, even as priorities shift.
  • Adapts language and approach to align with the electric utility sector.
What You’ll Do:

As a Technical Project Manager at Delta-X Research, you’ll lead onboarding, training, and implementation for our SaaS products — guiding customers through a seamless post-sale experience that builds trust and delivers value.

Customer Onboarding
Lead onboarding after handoff from Sales, delivering training, coordinating internal experts, refining documentation, and ensuring long-term customer success.

Customer Projects
Manage end-to-end implementation, including kickoff, planning, coordination, and execution, keeping timelines and stakeholders aligned.

Technical Enablement & Integration Support
Support customers in integrating our SaaS product into their technical environments. Translate requirements, coordinate internal experts, and help ensure smooth deployment.

Customer Support
Stay connected to Support, triaging technical issues, closing gaps in coverage, and monitoring trends to surface risks or improvements.

Customer Engagement
Foster long-term success through post-implementation reviews, training sessions, usage check-ins, and feedback collection.

Internal Projects
Support internal initiatives that improve systems, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You’ll Bring – Must Have:
  • 5+ years of project management experience in a SaaS, software, or technical product environment.
  • Proven success leading customer-facing onboarding, training, or implementation projects.
  • Ability to manage multiple timelines, projects, and cross-functional stakeholders with clarity and consistency.
  • Experience working with Sales, Customer Support, and Product or Engineering teams.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on keeping projects aligned and customers engaged.
  • Confidence working directly with customers and translating technical requirements into clear, actionable steps.
What You’ll Bring – Preferred:
  • Experience in customer success, post-sales delivery, or customer operations.
  • Familiarity with project management tools.
  • Experience supporting technical integrations or enterprise software implementations.
  • Understanding of enterprise onboarding processes and security questionnaires.
  • Confidence leading customer meetings, training sessions, or demos.
  • Exposure to scientific or technically complex products.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
What You Know & How You Work:
  • You understand core project management practices — scoping, planning, and leading successful customer-facing initiatives.
  • You’re familiar with SaaS and technical environments, and comfortable navigating how systems connect, even if you’re not doing the integration yourself.
  • You communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, adapting your approach based on audience and context.
  • You’re organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage shifting priorities without missing key details.
  • You collaborate well across teams — building trust with Sales, Support, Product, and Scientific colleagues.
  • You’re proactive, adaptable, and independent, while keeping others informed and aligned.
  • You understand how to work with electric utility customers, adjusting language, timelines, and process to meet their expectations.
