Job summary

National Research Council of Canada seeks a Coordinator, Administrative Services and Health and Safety to support the Automotive and Surface Transportation Research Centre. The role provides essential administrative coordination to keep operations running smoothly and to implement health and safety priorities.

The successful candidate will work with the Director of Operations and R&D Directors, contribute to meetings, reporting, data quality, and travel arrangements, and be committed to rigorous

Qualifications

• College diploma with courses in project management or related field.
• Two to six years of significant administrative and coordination experience in an R&D environment.
• Significant experience using Microsoft tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities daily.
• Experience providing advice or training to colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Monitor priority health and safety projects and prepare reports.
• Ensure data quality and coordinate meetings and events.
• Organize travel and manage administrative information.
• Support planning, monitoring and communications of activities and health/safety initiatives.
