Responsibilities

ABOUT THE JOB:

Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA) combines wholesale coverage with product, financing, and advisory expertise within one team to support clients globally. Our coverage teams promote the bank's products and services, while our capital raising, financing, and advisory teams provide expert support.

The Credit Portfolio Management group (GLBA/CPM) is a global organization within Global Banking and Advisory. The Real Assets and Infrastructure team covers sectors such as Energy Project Finance, Infrastructure, Metals & Mining, Digital Infrastructure, Commercial Real Estate, and Aircraft Finance. The group manages portfolio aspects including credit risk monitoring and capital management.

What will be your DAY-TO-DAY?

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing credit portfolios in Project Finance sectors: Energy (renewables, power, midstream, downstream), Infrastructure, and Metals & Mining.
• Processing amendments, waivers, and consents, preparing credit applications with recommendations, and obtaining internal approvals.
• Preparing annual credit reviews with financial analysis, projections, ratings, and proposals.
• Monitoring counterparty risks, covenant compliance, Unlikely To Pay events, and reporting key metrics.
• Credit monitoring and early warning indicators.
• Quarterly watch-list and provision reviews, presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Responding to regulator requests, including the US Shared National Credit.
• Supporting internal and external credit portfolio audits and examinations.
• Participating in workout processes for troubled credits with the Risk Asset Recovery team.

Profile required

Skills and Qualifications:

Must Have:

• Experience in Project Finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong financial and credit analysis skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including clear, concise writing.
• Problem-solving and organizational abilities, with capacity to prioritize and multitask.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
• Independence in work.
• Experience with Project Finance legal documentation.
• Knowledge of cash flow modeling, analysis, and valuation; direct modeling skills preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years financial services experience, ideally in Project Finance.

Desired:

• Prior experience in credit analysis or portfolio management.

Language:

Fluent English communication skills, both oral and written, are required for collaboration with US colleagues and partners.
