Job summary

WSP in Canmore, AB is seeking a Project Engineer or Civil Technologist to shape municipal infrastructure and land development projects with a team of designers, engineers, and PMs. You will plan and deliver water, wastewater, drainage, and site servicing works from concept to construction, collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes leading engineering activities, preparing reports and drawings, and coordinating with regulators to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a Civil Technologist Diploma, with eligibility for APEGA or ASET registration.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in municipal infrastructure and land development design (all levels encouraged to apply).
• Familiarity with local construction specifications, materials, and processes.
• A valid driver’s license and readiness to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $89,800 – $118,900
MB & ON: $81,900 – $112,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $81,100 – $107,700
