Job summary

WSP in Langley or Vancouver, BC, is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead the planning, design and delivery of municipal infrastructure and land development projects across the Lower Mainland. You will collaborate with industry-leading professionals to provide innovative solutions for public and private sector clients, and you will be a trusted advisor from planning through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).
• Minimum 3+ years of experience delivering municipal infrastructure and land development projects.
• Demonstrated experience in the design of water, wastewater, stormwater, drainage, and roadway infrastructure.
• Experience supporting project management, design coordination, and construction activities.
• Knowledge of construction contract administration practices; MMCD Contract Administration accreditation is considered an asset.
• Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and municipal infrastructure modelling software is an asset.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with municipal governments, developers, consultants, and contractors.

Compensation

• AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 - $118,900
• MB & ON: $81,900 - $112,800
• NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
