Job summary

Ganotec is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee administrative and technical aspects of constructing a project, leading a team of field and cost engineers, and serving as the main conduit for cost, revenue, and cash flow information. The role requires mentorship and developing personnel within the project team.

The position involves travel across Canada and the United States, with strong emphasis on contracts, subcontracts, and project controls.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, Building Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ work experience in construction.
• Experience managing engineers and leading project teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee all phases of the project and integration between disciplines.
• Manage project revenue, costs, cash flow, and job cost forecasting.
• Train and support field and office engineers in submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
