Description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Project Engineer, Electrical & Instrumentation on a permanent basis at our Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC). This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina, SK.

We operate a world-class refinery that utilizes cutting-edge technology to produce 130,000 barrels of refined petroleum products per day and an annual production capacity of 6.8 billion liters. As one of Canada’s largest refineries, we employ over 1,000 people. What you’ll do:

  • Effectively manage projects from pre-feed to commissioning and start-up.
  • Collaborate with team members, project owners, sponsors, and senior management to deliver projects on schedule and on budget.
  • Work with Procurement and Construction teams throughout the project to ensure work is completed in accordance with project strategy and schedule.
  • Maintain cost reports, cash flow, and overall schedule for the project.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts during all phases of the project, while aligning with project goals and objectives as well as risk management.
  • Make decisions throughout the different phases of the project, utilizing professional and technical expertise, to ensure project is delivered safely, efficiently, and meets stakeholder expectations.

Who you are:

  • Have a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or equivalent.
  • Have 6-10 years of directly related experience in refinery operations or an industrial setting.
  • You are registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) designation.
  • Experience with Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of electrical CEC and NEC code and industry standards such as IEEE, ANSI, NFPA, and CSA.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
