Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, the Project Engineer will be responsible for engineering and equipment package management support to the Project Team located in the Calgary head office.

Responsibilities

The Project Engineer will be a key member of the project execution team. The successful candidate will develop an excellent understanding of Enersul’s technologies/equipment and build excellent relationships with project execution teams for both new and existing customers. The strategic goals of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Participating in technical reviews with the client’s EPC or technical group.
• Developing and maintaining lasting relationships with key clients.
• Identifying and removing bottlenecks experienced during client interactions related to quality and expediting.
• Working with the project team to manage customer expectations during project delivery.
• Understanding and implementing “Zero Defect” principles during manufacturing and fabrication phases of the project.
• Interacting with sub-vendors to coordinate technical information regularly and through the procurement department for commercial matters.
• Collaborating with R&D on new product initiatives.

Skills and Requirements

• Engineering Degree or equivalent technical background.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in technical roles within industries such as oil & gas, manufacturing, or machinery design.
• Solid understanding of design principles.
• Project management experience is an asset.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
