Job summary

ServcoCanada Inc. is seeking a Project Cost Controller to join our growing team. You will monitor and control project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, and prepare cost reports to support decision-making across projects.

The role requires post-secondary education in accounting or related fields, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders. Travel to project sites and offices is expected and own transportation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with cost control software is advantageous.
• Ability to travel periodically to project sites, client locations, and company offices; own transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
• Prepare accurate project reports, billings, and cost analyses.
• Support project setup, cost tracking, and change management processes.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, clients, and accounting teams.
• Review invoices, purchase orders, subcontract costs, and payment applications.
• Identify cost variances, risks, and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
