Job summary

BWXT Canada Ltd. seeks an Intermediate Project Cost Analyst to manage project timekeeping, payroll, costing, POs, accruals and customer invoicing. You will apply EPSCA knowledge and coordinate with Project Controls and Procurement to ensure accurate data and timely processing.

The role requires CSIS clearance, a business or accounting degree, 2–4 years of related experience, and strong Excel skills. Onsite position with hybrid options in Cambridge, ON, Canada.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to clear CSIS security assessment.
• Diploma or degree in business/administration, accounting, finance, project management, or related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
• Strong time management and prioritization to meet recurring deadlines for payroll, costing, and invoicing.
• Knowledge of Canada and Ontario labour requirements relevant to the work.
• 2–4 years of relevant project costing, timekeeping, payroll, invoicing, project accounting, or commercial administration.
• Intermediate Excel capability and ability to work independently across recurring project cycles.
• Working knowledge of EPSCA requirements for time, travel, premiums, and payroll calculations.
• Familiarity with Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate or equivalent, internal and customer timekeeping systems, SAP and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage project timekeeping in TimeTracker and SharePoint.
• Import timesheets for staff and subcontractors; maintain crew timesheet setup.
• Execute payroll activities including travel, shift, and supervisor premiums.
• Prepare cost reports and update vendor trackers; set up POs in TimeTracker.
• Prepare accrual information and validate subcontractor invoices against cost and PO data.
• Reconcile time clock information and resolve routine discrepancies before package completion.
• Maintain audit-ready support for time, cost, sell, and invoice transactions.
• Coordinate with Project Controls, Project Accounting, Procurement, and site stakeholders.
