Job summary

Babcock Canada Inc. seeks a Project Accountant and Bid Support to drive financial planning and cost control for national projects. You will support bid activities, monitor project costs, and contribute to client reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across Canadian teams.

The role requires 5+ years in project accounting, strong Excel and ERP skills, and an ability to work with cross-functional teams. CPA is an asset and clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation is considered an asset.
• Minimum of five years of experience in project accounting or related finance role.
• Experience with pricing and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Support bid and proposal activities for new and potential contracts.
• Support project initiation, execution, and closeout processes.
• Prepare and monitor project cost reports for teams across Canada.
• Provide financial data for customer reporting and CSR reviews.
• Maintain IFRS 15 documentation and assist audits.
