Job summary

Eclipse Automation seeks a Project Coordinator Co-op in Cambridge, ON to support the Project Management team. You will assist with scheduling, documentation, and project administration to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with our Eclipse Vision.

Ideal candidates will be enrolled in a post-secondary Business Administration program, proficient in MS Project, and have familiarity with SolidWorks/AutoCAD. This role requires strong organization and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary Business Administration program or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project.
  • SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD are a definite asset.
  • PMI candidates preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work without supervision.
  • Understanding of robotics/control systems desirable.
  • Team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and refine electronic files and standard documents using Microsoft Office and other software.
  • Support creation of MS Project schedules during project planning.
  • Prepare documents with administration and project checklists.
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete and filed.
  • Maintain project controlled documents.
  • Prepare shipping documents for projects.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Ensure scheduled milestones are met and notify departments if not.

Job Title: Project Coordinator, Nuclear Co-op
Location: Cambridge, ON | On-site
Job Type: Co-op
Compensation: $22-26.00/hr

The Position

The Project Coordinator Co-op will provide scheduling and administrative support to the Project Management department. Working with the Director of Project Management and the Project Managers, the incumbent will offer administrative support to ensure the effective delivery of the Eclipse Vision and the Eclipse Entrepreneurial Culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

Technical

  • Assist in maintaining and refining the electronic files system and standard documents using Microsoft Office, and other software
  • Support the creation of the MS Project schedule throughout the planning phase of the project life cycle
  • Complete administrative functions of the Project Management department including (but not limited to) preparation of documents in coordination with administration, project checklists
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete and filed
  • Assist in maintaining project controlled documents
  • Preparing shipping documents for projects
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned

Project Execution

  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings safely
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned
  • Ensure scheduled milestones are met
  • Notify the appropriate departments if milestones are not met
  • Adhere to the Eclipse Project Operating Policy
  • Maintain good corporate citizen role in support of the Eclipse corporate Vision
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc. Conduct Code
  • Foster the development of a culture reflective of the core values of the business
What We’re Looking For
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project
  • SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD would be a definite asset
  • Preference given to PMI candidates
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to establish priorities and work without supervision
  • Understanding of robotics, control systems and machine operation with hands on experience is desirable
  • A self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team in a fast paces environment with minimal supervision
