Job summary

Ledcor Group is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support and oversee highway maintenance projects in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. You will ensure work meets quality, safety and contract standards while coordinating subcontractors and services.

Qualifications

  • Post secondary education in Construction or Civil Engineering is an asset.
  • 2+ years of project or quality coordination experience, ideally in highway or construction.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Solid technical skills with MS Word, Excel, estimating and scheduling tools.
  • Experience working with subcontractors and government clients is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clear abstract.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily project activities including subcontractors and hired services.
  • Review storm data trends and forecasts to support project planning.
  • Manage documentation, meeting minutes, files, logs and milestone tracking.
  • Production tracking and quality management.
  • Maintain quality records and perform field inspections; help train new team members.
  • Assist with estimation and tendering.
  • Awarding work, processing invoices, and preparing purchase requisitions.
  • Gather vendor pricing and manage data.
  • Support cost reporting and maintain client relationships.
  • Promote and support Ledcor's safety program and encourage safe work practices.

Essential Responsibilities

Support daily project activities including subcontractors and hired services Review storm data trends and forecasts to support project planning Manage documentation meeting minutes files logs and milestone tracking Production tracking and quality management Maintenance of quality records complete field inspections and help train new team members Assist with estimation, tendering awarding work processing invoices and preparing purchase requisitions Gather vendor pricing manage data support cost reporting and maintain client relationships Promote and support Ledcor's safety program and encourage safe work practices

Compensation

Compensation $59,500.00 - $85,000.00 This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
