Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Project Coordinator to support turnover and renovation activities for residential units across multiple sites in the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions. The role involves planning, scheduling, supervising unit readiness, coordinating with staff and contractors, and ensuring timely, quality unit turnover.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct pre-move-out inspections and develop scope of work.
  2. Create monthly turnover plans based on vacancies.
  3. Coordinate repairs and upgrades with staff and contractors.
  4. Obtain and compare quotes for repairs.
  5. Schedule and oversee vendor and team activities for unit turnover.
  6. Monitor ongoing repairs across sites in Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Barrie, and Peterborough.
  7. Ensure cost efficiency and quality standards.
  8. Communicate progress to leadership and conduct follow-up inspections.
  9. Adjust plans as needed for unforeseen challenges.
  10. Maintain documentation and contractor performance records.

Job Requirements

  • Experience coordinating contractors and repairs.
  • Knowledge of basic construction or maintenance is an asset.
  • No specific degree required; relevant experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions.
  • Willingness to visit sites regularly and travel.

Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, quick learner.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle.

Work Environment

  • Full-time, on-site/field-based role.
  • Travel across GTA and surrounding cities (expenses reimbursed).
  • Flexible schedule due to project demands.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $55,000 – $65,000/year.
  • Annual salary increases.
