Job summary

Corrpro Canada is seeking a Project Coordinator – Draftsperson to support project managers and engineers on corrosion control projects in Montreal. You will prepare 2D CAD drawings, manage schedules and field personnel, and help deliver projects on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates are bilingual, hold a drafting diploma, have 3+ years in a similar role, and exhibit strong MS Office and AutoCAD skills; a Class 5 driver’s license is preferred. We offer competitive pay and full benefits.

• DEP vocational diploma in drafting or equivalent experience.
• AEC/DEC in a technical field is an asset.
• 3+ years in a similar project coordination/draftsperson role.

WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Assist project managers and engineers in project management
• Assist in managing project schedules and field personnel
• Coordinate and prepare projects on time and within budget, meeting customer and company objectives
• Prepare inspection and installation reports, data sheets, and graphs
• Prepare 2D CAD drawings for engineering and installation projects
• Manage the vehicle fleet and equipment
• Manage employee training and certifications
• Manage laboratory soil analyses (no experience required)
• Occasional site visits
• Any other tasks necessary to support office staff and technicians

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bilingual (English/French), preferably with a high level of spoken and written proficiency
• DEP vocational diploma in drafting (industrial or building) or equivalent experience
• AEC or DEC in a technical field (an asset)
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks to be completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate creativity, judgment, and initiative
• Class 5 driver's license
• ASP Construction card (an asset)
