Qualifications

• Technologist in training (T.T.), Engineer in training(E.I.T.) or relevant previous work experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
• Good planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• The ability to read and interpret construction drawings is an asset but not required.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a commitment to service excellence for the client.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project financial performance reporting, including profit and loss, budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts and other bid documents to define project scope, exclusions, requirements and deliverables.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, proposals and bid submissions using company estimating and project-management systems.
• Coordinate project activities, including supervision, subcontractors, equipment, materials, shipments and work packages.
• Monitor project progress, productivity, quantities, costs, schedules and resource utilization.
• Prepare and present project status reports identifying progress, risks, variances, corrective actions and forecast outcomes.
