Job summary

IFG International Financial Group Ltd is seeking a Project Coordinator in Toronto for a 6-month contract, with a commitment of two days per week in the downtown office. The role involves coordinating finances, supporting PMs and Scrum Masters across Agile/Waterfall, and maintaining project artifacts and communications.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PCO experience, strong financial acumen, and proficiency in SharePoint and Excel. CIBC experience and PM certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of previous PCO experience.
• Strong experience with managing project financials.
• General understanding of accounting practices.
• Experience with SharePoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Track and reconcile project financials monthly; investigate variances and escalate issues as needed.
• Support PMs and Scrum Masters across Agile and Waterfall projects with scheduling and coordination.
• Document and distribute meeting minutes and action items promptly; manage project artifacts.
• Monitor risks, issues, and change requests; ensure timely updates and resolutions.
• Prepare monthly financial review materials and support variance analysis with Finance teams.
• Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders and coordinate recurring project meetings.

Our client, a Top 5 bank in Canada is looking to hire a Project Coordinator for an initial 6 month contract with a high possibility of extension. This role is 2 days a week in the office in downtown Toronto.
