Job summary

OnX Canada in downtown Toronto is seeking a Project Control Officer for a 6-month extendable contract to support Project Managers in the Capital Markets space.

The role is on-site in a hybrid model (4 days per week) with emphasis on budgeting, resource forecasting, and reporting to senior management. Ideal candidates have proven PCO experience and excellent communication with executives.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience as a PCO in capital markets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating with project teams and management.

Responsibilities

• Establish collaborative relationships with external and internal project teams.
• Collect and track project and resource information (budget, rates).
• Prepare resource allocation forecasts based on budget and review with Senior Management.
• Provide resource allocation updates to Finance and Project Managers.
• Be the main contact for any project resource inquiries.
• Maintain accurate Project List and Resource Assignment files.
• Collect details on new projects and keep the project list up to date.
• Facilitate regular project review meetings with Management.
• Manage deviations for applications and ensure timely submissions/renewals.
• Respond to audit requests and provide required reports.

OnX Canada has partnered with a major bank seeking a Project Control Officer (PCO) for a 6-month extendable contract.

This role will have the individual supporting Project Managers in the Capital Markets space, and requires you on-site in a hybrid model (4 days per week) in downtown Toronto.

Responsibilities

• Establish collaborative relationships with external and internal project teams.
• Collect and track project and resource information (i.e., project budget, resource rate, etc.)
• Prepare resource allocation/forecast based on available budget and review with Senior Management
• Provide the resource allocation updates to Finance and Project Managers
• Be the point of contact for any project resource related inquiry
• Maintain accurate Project List and Resource Assignment files
• Collect details on new projects and ensure project list is up to date with latest information
• Facilitate regularly recurring project review meetings with Management team
• Manage deviations for the respective applications and ensure they are submitted and/or renewed on time
• Respond to audit requests and provide required report/document as needed

Top Skills:

• Strong experience as a PCO
• Capital Markets experience is mandatory
• Perfect communication skills - written and verbal
• Confident - ability to work with very senior level stakeholders, lead meetings, support Program and Project Managers

Nice to Skills:

• Regulatory experience would be an asset but is not mandatory
