About The Role

We are seeking a driven Project Coordinator to join Axiom Builders. This role is designed for someone eager to build their career in construction by learning directly from experienced Project Managers and working closely with trade partners, and field operations staff. Working under the guidance of a Project Manager, you will gain hands‑on exposure to every stage of the construction process. From managing documentation and project systems to coordinating safety protocols and communication between sub‑trades, clients, architects, and consultants, you’ll develop the skills and confidence to grow into a future Project Manager. This is more than just a coordinator role; it’s an opportunity to be mentored, to learn the business inside and out, and to establish a strong foundation for a long‑term career in project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, organize, and maintain all project materials including drawings, specifications, purchase orders, design plans, and contract documents.
  • Prepare change order documentation and track all contract change orders and purchase orders.
  • Assist with the sample and shop drawing review process throughout the project, including review, distribution, and final approvals electronically.
  • Report on project progress and productivity to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with on‑site and company‑wide health and safety protocols and policies.
  • Communicate with sub‑trades to assist in budgeting and ensure they understand their scope of work.
  • Review designs and use knowledge of construction methods to determine the most cost‑effective approach.
What You Bring

The ideal candidate is adaptable and possesses exceptional organizational and time‑management skills that allow them to work efficiently and prioritize in a goal‑driven environment. Demonstrating a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence, you can work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment and take pride in your work, understanding the importance of quality, accuracy, and client satisfaction at every stage of the construction process.

Skills And Experience
  • Certificate, diploma or degree in Building Technology, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum one‑to‑two (1‑2) years of experience in construction on‑site as a Project Coordinator.
  • Proficiency in Procore, MS Project and other construction‑related software is a strong asset.
  • Academic experience or professional exposure to Design or VCON is an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written/verbal) skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
  • Willing and excited to work on site and be actively involved in project execution.
