Job summary

Broccolini Construction Inc. in Ottawa is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our construction team.

You will assist the Project Manager in organizing all aspects of the projects, while fostering enduring relationships with our people, partners, and clients and upholding Broccolini’s Pride and Passion, Collaboration, Integrity, and Entrepreneurial Spirit. The role requires 1–3 years of project coordination experience, an engineering degree or technical diploma in Construction, Building, Civil

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of project coordination experience in construction
• Engineering degree or technical diploma in Construction, Building, Civil or Architecture
• Strong knowledge of contracts, drawings, specifications, scheduling, and HSE practices
• Experience with Procore, Textura, Microsoft Excel & Project is an asset
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in organizing and coordinating all aspects of the construction projects
• Provide high-level support in the tendering phase (liaison with subcontractors to obtain pricing and update trade lists)
• Coordinate and follow-up on plans and shop drawings
• Attend project meetings and prepare minutes for review by the Project Manager and ensure timely distribution to the team
• Manage change orders and ensure the construction site is aware of changes as soon as possible
• Receive, generate, track and respond to RFIs using construction management software
• Provide support as required to the site and Health and Safety team

What you will do as a Project Coordinator:

• Assist the Project Manager in organizing and coordinating all aspect of the construction projects
