Job summary

Broccolini is seeking an experienced MEP Project Coordinator to join our construction team in Canada. You will assist in organizing and coordinating all MEP aspects of projects, liaising with subcontractors during tendering, and maintaining plan and shop drawing workflows.

The role involves attending meetings, preparing minutes, and managing change orders while supporting the site and Health & Safety efforts. A background in mechanical or electrical disciplines is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of MEP construction experience or equivalent
• Engineering degree or technical diploma in Mechanical or Electrical
• Understanding of contract terms and project financials
• Strong MEP knowledge with basic Arch & Civil
• Experience with Procore, Textura, Excel & Project is an asset

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in organizing and coordinating all MEP aspects of construction projects
• Provide high-level support in tendering, liaising with subcontractors for pricing and updating trade lists
• Coordinate and follow up on plans and shop drawings
• Attend project meetings and prepare minutes for review by MEP PM
• Manage change orders and communicate site changes promptly
• Receive, generate, track and respond to RFIs using construction management software
• Provide support to site and Health and Safety team

What you will do as an MEP Project Coordinator at Broccolini:

• Assist the Project Manager in organizing and coordinating all MEP aspects of the construction projects
• Provide a high-level support in the tendering phase (liaison with subcontractors to obtain pricing and update trade lists)
• Coordinate and follow-up on plans and shop drawings,
• Attend project meetings and prepare minutes for review by the MEP Project Manager and ensure timely distribution to the team
• Manage change orders and ensure the construction site is aware of changes as soon as possible
• Receive, generate, track and respond to the requests for information (RFI) using construction management software
• Provide support as required to the site and Health and Safety team

What You Will Bring:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of MEP construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
• An engineering degree or technical diploma in Mechanical or Electrical
• Understanding of contract terms and financials related to a construction project
• Strong MEP knowledge with a basic understanding of Architectural & Civil
• Experience with Procore, Textura, Microsoft Excel & Project is an asset
