Job summary

TEP Canada, based in Halifax, is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator to join our Halifax, NS office. You will work with Project Managers and teams to ensure task execution, keeping the group organized so field work runs cost-efficiently and on schedule.

The role emphasizes data collection, reporting, forecasting, contract tracking, and close-out activities, with travel to sites as required. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a dynamic learning environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent education and experience in telecommunications projects)
  • Able to organize resources, set priorities and work effectively with project managers and teams
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office & Google Suites
  • Excel: strong quantitative skills and ability to design moderate spreadsheets and database queries
  • Strong analytical skills with reporting and presentations experience
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative to complete tasks
  • Creative solutions for complex problems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels
  • Willingness to travel for meetings and site visits

Responsibilities

  • Collect and verify data from contractors to generate reports for upper management
  • Provide timely status updates and produce accurate forecasting to the Project Manager and project teams
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains
  • Resolve and/or elevate issues for successful project completion
  • Serve as primary point of contact with external vendors on technical project matters
  • Maintain and update company databases/trackers
  • Coordinate and track contracts, purchase orders, submittals, and close-out tasks
  • Month-end invoicing and reconciling purchase orders across vendors
  • Track, document, and maintain meeting minutes with external contractors
  • Attend status meetings and present site status reports
  • Other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Essential Functions
