Job summary

Total SignWorks in Calgary, Canada is seeking a versatile Project Coordinator who blends production know-how with customer service, project management and estimating. You’ll guide projects from intake to delivery, coordinate across departments and vendors, and assist with production and installs as needed.

This is an ideal opportunity for growth into a leadership role in a high-performance sign shop. This role values strong organization, communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in signage, project coordination, or sales.
• Knowledge of sign production processes, substrates, and installation practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and RIP software.
• Ability to read and interpret design proofs and production drawings.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with a client-first mindset.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license; comfortable with occasional travel or site work.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned projects from quote through delivery.
• Meet with clients (phone, email, in-person) to understand their needs and offer signage solutions.
• Prepare estimates and close orders using internal tools.
• Coordinate job timelines, materials, production, and installation schedules.
• Conduct site surveys and assist with permit documentation.
• Interface with suppliers and subcontractors when needed.
• Assist in the shop with vinyl cutting, printing, assembly, and simple installs.
• Maintain accurate project records and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support team members and potentially mentor junior staff as the company grows.
