Job summary

MarkIt Signs Ltd. in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, is seeking a Sign Designer / Customer Service Specialist to join our busy shop. This role blends design with hands-on production prep and direct customer interaction.

You will work on vehicle graphics, storefront signage, decals, banners and more; CorelDRAW is preferred; ability to manage multiple projects with excellent service is essential.

Sign Designer / Customer Service Specialist
Full-Time | MarkIt Signs Ltd. | Prince Albert, SK
$27$33/hour, depending on experience
MarkIt Signs is looking for an experienced sign industry professional to join our busy, established sign shop.
This isn't a traditional sit-at-a-desk graphic design position. Our days move quickly and the work is constantly changing vehicle graphics, storefront signage, decals, banners, billboards, construction signs, displays and everything in between.
We're looking for someone who already understands the sign industry and can step into the role with a solid working knowledge of designing and preparing files for production.
A large part of this position is also customer service. You'll work directly with customers from their initial idea through design and production, so we're looking for someone who's friendly, confident, organized and comfortable making decisions.

We're looking for someone with:

• Previous sign industry experience
• Strong graphic design and layout skills
• Experience preparing production-ready files
• CorelDRAW experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of vinyl, large-format printing, signage and common sign materials
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple jobs in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve without needing constant direction
• Comfort using AI and modern technology to work more efficiently
