Enbridge is offering a 4-month Project Controls Summer Student co-op in Edmonton, AB, starting May 2027. You will rotate through cost management and scheduling functions, learning systems, processes, and reporting.

Qualificações

  • This role requires enrollment in a full-time post-secondary program in Business (Finance/Accounting) or Engineering.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact across levels.
  • Ability to work in a team and also independently, with good time management.
  • Proficiency with MS Office; exposure to PowerBI is a plus.

Responsabilidades

  • Support Project Controls priorities by learning cost management systems, standards, and processes.
  • Assist with cost tracking, analysis, earned value management, forecasting and reporting.
  • Attend project meetings and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Plan and coordinate a team volunteer activity and visit project locations as appropriate.
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

In the role of Project Controls Summer Student, you will get exposure to various roles in the Project Controls cost and scheduling functions through rotations with existing team members.

Placement Details:
  • 4 month co-op placement starting in May 2027, located in Edmonton, AB.
What you will do:
  • Support the Project Controls team priorities by learning cost management systems, standards, and processes and performing assigned tasks to support the execution of Major Projects.
  • Specific cost management responsibilities may include cost tracking, analysis, earned value management, change management, forecasting, attending project meetings, collaborating with Project Controls team members and other functional departments, and preparing reports and presentations.
  • Perform stretch assignments to support Project Controls goals and priorities.
  • Plan and coordinate a team volunteer activity in the community.
  • Visit project locations if the opportunity arises.
  • Liaise with other Enbridge departments or colleagues as needed for role and assignments.
  • Bring forward ideas for continuous improvement.
Who you are:
  • You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program studying Business - emphasis in Finance/Accounting or Engineering and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
  • Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge's core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, High Performance).
Nice to have:
  • Ability to analyze data for root cause and trends.
  • Experience with AI tools.
  • PowerBI experience.
Working Conditions:
  • Office based role, located in Edmonton, AB
  • Relocation assistance is not provided.
  • This role may require occasional travel to the U.S.; candidates should hold a valid passport or the ability to secure one.

Please note that this is a role providing contract labour to Enbridge through the Raise, who manages Enbridge’s Student Contractor Program. If you are selected for this position, you will be employed by Raise and will not be an employee of Enbridge.
