Job summary

Graham Contracting, Ltd. in Ontario, Canada, seeks a Project Controls Specialist to strengthen the Project Controls team for infrastructure and buildings projects.

You’ll report to the Project Controls Manager and help define processes, monitor risks, and support project teams to improve execution. Responsibilities include risk analyses, budgeting, scheduling, KPI reporting, and providing strategic guidance to site and office teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Project Cost Control (General Contracting).
• Hands on experience with EAC/ETC, Cost Variances, Commitments and Cost Exposure, Change Management and Earned Value.
• Preferred software: InEight cost management, P6 and schedule/cost integration, Risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage Risk – support Quantitative Risk Analysis/Assessments.
• Standardize Processes – implement project controls systems and procedures.
• Project Controls Planning – oversee budgeting, scheduling, and document management.
• Monitor Project Performance – identify issues, drive improvements, escalate when needed.

Graham is actively recruiting for a Project Controls Specialist to support the Ontario Region (including both infrastructure and buildings projects). Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, this role defines and documents processes, provides strategic support to project teams and monitors risks to improve project execution.

Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site

• Manage Risk – Work with the Project Controls Manager and Project Team to support Quantitative Risk Analysis/Assessments when needed.
• Standardize Processes – Support the implementation of project controls systems and procedures.
• Project Controls Planning – Oversee project budgeting, scheduling, and document management.
• Monitor Project Performance – Identify issues, drive improvements, and escalation when needed.

The Right Tools for the Job

• Education: Degree or diploma in Construction, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in Project Cost Control (General Contracting).
• Skills: Hands on experience with EAC/ETC, Cost Variances, Commitments and Cost Exposure, Change Management and Earned Value.
• Preferred software experience: InEight cost management, P6 and schedule/cost integration, Risk management.

Compensation

• Salary Range $100,000 to $130,000 per annum
• Compensation aligned to education and experience, ensuring fair and competitive placement
• Three to five weeks of vacation, with additional credit for prior industry experience
