Job summary

Graham is recruiting a Project Controls Coordinator for its Industrial Division in Canada. You will support planning, forecasting, cost control, scheduling, and reporting across projects, working closely with PMs, planners, site teams, and commercial groups to drive informed decisions throughout the project lifecycle.

The role is primarily site-based in Saskatchewan with a rotating 7-on/7-off or 14-on/14-off schedule; flights and accommodations are provided to support assignments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in Industrial construction or project controls (cost, scheduling, planning, forecasting, document management); pipeline experience preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel; PowerBi and Primavera P6 scheduling are assets.
  • Understanding of cost control and forecasting; EVMS; change management; scheduling and critical path; progress reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project control structures: WBS, work packages, control accounts, cost breakdown structures.
  • Establish and manage cost baselines and budgets.
  • Monitor costs, quantities installed, progress, and earned value metrics.
  • Prepare and analyze cost reports, forecasts, variances, EACs, ETCs, KPIs, performance indices.
  • Manage critical path schedules and identify schedule risks or delays.
  • Support change management, claims analysis, and schedule impact assessments.
  • Coordinate with QS, field teams, and project leadership to validate reporting.
  • Assist project teams in implementing standard project controls processes.
  • Contribute to dashboard creation, project reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Complete field walkdowns and verifications for estimating and billing.

Graham is actively recruiting for a Project Controls Coordinator supporting the Industrial Division. Reporting to Project Director, the incumbent supports project planning, forecasting, cost control, scheduling, progress measurement, change management, and project reporting. The role works closely with Project Managers, Planners, Site Teams, and Commercial teams to provide accurate project performance information and support informed decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle.

This role is primarily project‑based in SK and follows either a 7‑on/7‑off or 14‑on/14‑off rotation schedule, with flights and accommodations provided.

The Right Tools for the Job
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience: 3+ of Industrial construction, or project controls experience in disciplines such as cost control, scheduling, planning, forecasting, and document management. Experience in pipeline is preferred
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Knowledge of PowerBi and Primavera P6 scheduling is an asset.
