Job summary

Agilus by Synergie is seeking a Project Controls Advisor II in Calgary, Alberta. This contract role focuses on project controls, planning, scheduling and project services, supporting the supervisor and mentoring team members.

Travel to project sites is expected and the position emphasizes leadership and analysis across multiple international assignments. The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in engineering or construction management, strong cost control and scheduling skills, and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Construction Management is required.
• Experience in Project Services, Project Controls and Planning; supervisory experience preferred.
• Willing to travel to project sites, domestic or international, and work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of project management best practices and strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project controls, cost estimating, planning and scheduling is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the owner schedule basis for assigned scope; integrate contractor schedules and analyze critical path and progress.
• Own detailed cost, forecast, progress, change and reporting analysis for the assigned scope; reconcile data and identify trends.
• Manage bookings, WIP/ accruals, commitments and closeout interfaces for the assigned scope.
