TD Securities in Toronto is seeking a Project Analyst to conduct research, analysis and reporting on a range of operational issues and to execute on medium-scale initiatives within a defined functional area. You will act as a conduit among partners, communicate project status to senior management and support change management while maintaining risk controls and alignment with enterprise frameworks.

The position reports to the Director/Senior Project Manager within the VCP group of TD Securities. As a Project Analyst, conduct research, analysis and reporting on a range of operational and service issues. Execute on smaller projects and strategic special initiatives within a defined functional area that may require broader partnership across TDS and/or other TD enterprise functions. Role may also be responsible for complex analysis and reporting at the project / program level. Role Accountabilities Act as conduit/coordinator/facilitator bringing in appropriate partners/ expertise on key initiatives. Communicate project status and provide timely escalation of issues to senior management to ensure project objectives are met. Accountable for cross-functional interdepartmental initiatives to deliver value internally or to partner/customer groups. Provide upward feedback and analysis, developing and executing on reporting functions and/or producing consolidated or aggregated reporting as appropriate. Contribute to the development/delivery of presentations/ communications to management or broader audiences. Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite; adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to operations activities for own area (e.g., Anti-Money Laundering, Business Continuity Management) Support change management projects or programs that impact the business, functions or processes and ensure clear communication and documentation of new processes. Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation, and teamwork and ensure the timely communication of issues/points of interest. Keep others informed and up to date about the status/progress of projects and/or all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities. Deliver work packages for projects within a bigger program and focus of projects / programs generally medium term. May lead and deliver Tier 5 projects with a low level of regulatory oversight, risk, and complexity profile with medium term horizon. Requires deeper understanding of technology / business issues and objectives, and impact of the team’s work. May operate as a working lead and provide training and guidance to others on best practices, processes, and completion of business-as-usual activities.
