Job summary

Norland Limited is seeking a Project Administrator (Fixed-term) to support procurement, document control, and project administration for a 3-month term at the Richmond, BC office.

Reporting to the Project Manager/Estimator, you will process requisitions, track POs, manage documents, and coordinate between departments to ensure accurate records from initiation to close-out.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in business preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in a computerized procurement environment
  • Experience in a construction environment is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, multitasking and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems

Responsibilities

  • Process purchase requisitions and service orders for equipment, materials, and subcontractor services.
  • Receive parts and material deliveries, process packing slips, and record receipts in the ERP system.
  • Track open purchase orders and manage reports toward month-end.
  • Enter utilization, equipment usage, and invoice data into ERP.
  • Maintain project and equipment files including POs, invoices, and permits.
  • Assist with document control and organize project folders for accounting and field teams.
  • Support closeout documentation, compiling as-built data and final invoices.
  • Provide general administrative support to project and procurement teams.

Using advanced techniques, we ensure efficient and safe project execution, delivering optimal results. Pacific Demolition has provided a wide range of complete and selective demolition services across Western Canada.


Reporting to the Project Manager/Estimator, the Project Administrator will provide critical administrative and procurement support to our project teams. You will manage project documentation, procurement requisitions, equipment/parts orders, invoice processing, and general project admin tasks to ensure smooth workflow and accurate records from project initiation through close-out.


This is a full-time, temporary role based at our project office in Richmond, BC. The position is expected to run for approximately three (3) months, with the potential for extension and future opportunities within the company.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Process purchase requisitions and service orders for equipment, materials, and subcontractor services.

  • Receive parts and material deliveries, process packing slips, and record receipts in the ERP system.

  • Track open purchase orders, distribute and manage open PO reports weekly or more frequently as month-end approaches.

  • Enter utilization, equipment usage, and equipment-related invoice data into ERP.

  • Maintain project and equipment files, including POs, invoices, packing slips, subcontractor documentation, permits, and other project paperwork.

  • Assist with document control, maintaining up-to-date project folders and organizing documentation for accounting, operations, and field teams.

  • Support project closeout documentation, compiling as-built data, final invoices, subcontractor documentation, and other closeout deliverables.

  • Provide general administrative support to the project and procurement team as required, including filing, data entry, communication, and coordination between departments.


Qualifications & Skills


  • Degree or diploma in business preferred, or equivalent work experience

  • Preferably at least 1 year of experience in a computerized procurement environment

  • Experience in a construction environment is preferred

  • Proficient with MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Previous experience working with ERP systems is an asset

  • Ability to work independently and as a team player

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

  • Excellent time management, prioritization, multitasking and organizational skills


Compensation

The role is a temporary, full-time position with a typical salary range of $24-30 per hour, depending on skills and experience, plus vacation and statutory pay. The starting pay will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and experience.
