Your work environment at EXP

We are seeking an individual who is excited to participate with an established Design team and be a part of the Buildings Group, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This position will assist the Project Manager on various project administrative duties for large Architectural projects.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

  • Attend and take minutes at Client and User group meetings
  • Assist staff with client presentations, meetings and travel scheduling
  • Perform and maintain Document Control
  • Maintain and organize document files
  • Provide Administrative support during all design phases of Architectural projects
  • Perform any other Administrative duties and responsibilities as required

What your experience looks like

  • 5+ years working in Administration
  • Experience in the Architectural & Engineering industry
  • Advanced typing, proofing and formatting skills
  • Excellent grammar verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Must be very well organized
  • Excellent at multi-tasking and paying attention to detail
  • A great team player
  • Driven individual that handles tight deadlines well
  • Resourceful and adapts quickly to new software, methodology or technologies
  • Newforma & Procore software knowledge would be an asset
  • Experience with governmental agencies would be an asset
  • Experience with assisting in Contract Administration would be an asset
  • Knowledge and experience with Healthcare projects would be an asset
