The salary scale for Professional Support 2 ranges from $64,783.04 to $86,126.92 annually. New employees may receive up to seven steps based on occupational experience, with a maximum of $75,439.19 per year.

What you'll do

Responsibilities

The project coordinator will report to the Senior Manager Entrepreneurship and be responsible for coordinating activities, events, and programming in entrepreneurship across NSCC, with a focus on The Dartmouth Makerspace. This role supports the growth of NSCC's provincial makerspace strategy, resource support, program coordination, and entrepreneurial programming for staff and students. The focus is on developing programs that help students enter the entrepreneurial ecosystem locally, nationally, and internationally through extracurricular and curricular activities.

What you'll need

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

  • Minimum educational qualification: a two-year post-secondary diploma in a related discipline.
  • Diploma in Business Administration or related field in entrepreneurship or applied research preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of recent, relevant occupational experience supporting entrepreneurs, including business advisories, community resource navigation, and workshop delivery.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, virtual meeting platforms, and social media tools.
  • Comfortable working in a digital environment, with a commitment to technological proficiency for enhancing student experience.
  • Experience in training, facilitation, and applying adult learning principles is an asset.
  • Experience supporting staff, students, and prospective students.
  • Experience working in a makerspace environment.
