AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Planner/Scheduler to join our growing team. This position reports to the Program Controls Director. The Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for managing project schedules, ensuring accurate, realistic, and logical planning throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves evaluating schedule impacts from proposed changes, identifying schedule conflicts, and maintaining integration with the master program schedule.

This role is based in Toronto, ON.

Your role within the team:

1. Manage the submission of project schedules from contractors and consultants, reviewing for accuracy, realism, and logic.
2. Evaluate schedule impacts of proposed changes in accordance with contract terms.
3. Identify and resolve project-level schedule conflicts with delivery teams.
4. Maintain client schedules and collaborate with other schedulers to align and integrate schedule interfaces into the master program schedule.
5. Provide schedule reports and critical path analysis as per reporting requirements.
6. Undertake schedule quality assurance and peer reviews.
7. Support the QSRA process, working with Risk and Cost Managers to coordinate inputs.

The ideal candidate:

1. Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Senior Scheduler and 5 years as an Intermediate Scheduler, especially in international airport infrastructure projects.
2. Degree in engineering or a relevant discipline.
3. Proficient in Primavera P6, experienced in creating complex Work Breakdown Structures and integrating multiple schedules.
4. Familiar with schedule quality tools (e.g., Acumen Fuse) and Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA); contracting experience is a plus.
5. Strong communication skills, experienced in leading workshops and collaborating with contractors.
