Job summary

Lookout Housing and Health Society in Vancouver is seeking a Coordinator to oversee daily operations of Lookout residential, shelter, and outreach programs. Under the Program Manager, you will ensure services meet goals and minimal-barrier standards while supporting budgeting, reporting, and compliance.

The role requires leadership, collaboration, and strong communication with internal teams and external partners, plus payroll and HR coordination.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in Social Services or comparable experience.
Two years’ experience in the community social service sector.
Experience with scheduling, payroll, budgeting and human resources.
Demonstrated knowledge of income assistance, affordable housing and health resources.
First Aid Training Certificate required and must pass a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sectors Clearance.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of residential, shelter, and outreach programs.
Maintain program goals and minimal barrier service delivery.
Coordinate administration, documentation and reporting systems.
Review policies and coordinate with community agencies and internal departments.
Assist with hiring, scheduling, personnel administration and payroll records.
Prepare reports and assist with budgeting, financial analysis and expenditures monitoring.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and confidentiality requirements.
Participate in management meetings and professional development activities.
