ROSS is a team of People Specialists helping companies align their People Strategy with their business growth. We provide remote or onsite HR and Recruitment solutions such as Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), complemented by leading edge open-source HRIS software.

TheProgram Manager/ Sr. Project Manager - CONTRACT will be responsible for leading an end-to-end Fund Accounting Conversion including:

1. Working with the key stakeholders, our clients' product group, business participants, and project team to define scope and objectives for the project.
2. Collaboratively build a project plan with underlying work packages, critical dates and milestones, and identified risks and issues.
3. Collaborate with Business Partner Integration teams to help shape and execute the plan.
4. Define, scope and provide leadership on the data conversion and migration plan.
5. Define, scope and provide leadership to the activities associated with the model office and test team.
6. Set up and manage Project Governance model as defined by the SunGard Partner and key stakeholders.
7. Project reporting including progress against plan, budget, and Steering Committee reports.
8. Ensure Operational Readiness is achieved before launch.
9. Effectively handle project issues and resolve challenges as part of everyday leadership.

Requirements:

1. Solid Fund Accounting background (8+ years).
2. Fund accounting experience must be current, i.e. - not someone who did this 5 or 10 years ago.
3. Knowledge of SunGard Asset Arena Investment Accounting (AAIA) is an asset but not essential.
4. Solid understanding of Canadian Fund Accounting Requirements and Regulation - Needs to know the big picture, not necessarily detail level knowledge.
5. Demonstrated PM experience leading mid to large sized teams deploying Wealth Management/Fund Accounting related projects (PMP PgMP is an asset).
6. Demonstrated communication skills - written, verbal, and presentation.
7. Professional demeanor and comfortable working with a cross-section of people at different levels in the organization and with 3rd party partners.
8. Flexible with the ability to see the big picture.
