Job summary

University of British Columbia CPD division seeks a Program Manager to lead educational program development and manage complex projects within Strategic Projects and Partnerships. The leave‑replacement role collaborates with Medical Directors, project sponsors and partners to deliver high‑impact education initiatives.

You will design programs, oversee budgets, schedules and evaluation activities, recruit and mentor staff, and ensure accreditation standards are met while advancing CPD’s mission.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or related field required with substantial experience.
• Proven ability to design and deliver educational programs and curricula.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules and stakeholder communications.
• Strong written and spoken communication, with collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more CPD initiatives from initiation to closure.
• Oversee multiple projects with varied scope and risk.
• Create detailed project plans, track progress and manage scope.
• Resolve issues and manage project life cycle.
• Conduct risk management and resource planning.
• Oversee budgets and financial reporting for programs.
• Coordinate with partners and provide program leadership.
