Connective in Prince George, BC seeks a Program Manager to lead and innovate in our community services. You will plan, organize, staff, and monitor activities to meet targets while collaborating with regulators, funders, and volunteers.

The role emphasizes building inclusive programs, managing staff and resources, and coordinating with government and community partners. Minimum 5 years in relevant fields and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or professional designation required.
• Minimum 5 years in community living, mental health or criminal justice.
• Experience managing daily operations of community-based programs.
• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.
• Ability to hire, train and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Implements policies and procedures and maintains manuals.
• Hires, supervises, evaluates, and terminates staff as needed.
• Manages staff scheduling and orientation.
• Oversees daily, monthly, and annual documentation of records.
• Manages financial and administrative aspects of programs.
• Designs inclusive support programs aligned with funder goals.
• Liaises with Connective staff for referrals.
• Facilitates person-centered planning for staff and service users.
• Develops program opportunities for the community.
• Maintains relationships with related community agencies.
• Ensures facilities comply with safety regulations.
• Provides on-call coverage for emergencies.
• Recruitment, training and development of HR.
