Job description

6 month contract Program Manager contract role on a long term, highly innovative program with a global enterprise organization.

  • Highly innovative program with a global enterprise organization.
  • Contract Program Manager role.
  • On site work available in Vancouver, 2-3 days a week in office.

What & Why:
In this role you\'ll lead project management, coordination, and execution across a complex org design and transformation initiative tied to a workforce management system replatform. Working closely with partners across Operating Model, Org Design, Change Management, and P&C, you\'ll help drive the transformation side of the work while an SI partner manages the technical integration. You don\'t need deep expertise in the tool itself, just curiosity, strong instincts, and a consulting mindset. You build trust quickly across all levels, from peers to SVPs, and know how to lead through influence rather than authority. You\'re adaptable, comfortable in unfamiliar territory, and able to flex your style to fit any room. Backgrounds across industries are welcome; what matters most is your ability to bring clarity and momentum to complex, high-visibility work.

Who:

This client is one of the most recognizable Canadian brands, a true Vancouver success story who has expanded globally. They are well known for their corporate culture and has won major awards for their accomplishments. They have invested majorly in technology and have had an incredibly successful past few years, including a major strategic acquisition. They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and have a hybrid work environment, 2-3 days a week in office.

You:

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

  • 3–5 years of experience in program or project management, ideally within technology implementation, P&C/Workforce systems, or transformation initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of project management fundamentals (scheduling, RAID logs, status reporting).
  • Comfortable learning new business areas and systems (e.g., WFM technology, retail operations).
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid communication skills — written and verbal — with the ability to prepare clear updates and materials for a range of stakeholders.
  • Proven experience facilitating and pushing decision-making, alignment and commitment as well as highlighting risks and providing mitigations.
Compensation:

This role pays between $70-80 per hour.
