Job Title: Program Director (Bilingual)

Location: Canada (Remote)

Sapiens is seeking a Program Director (Bilingual) to join our North America team. If you are an experienced Program Director looking to advance your career with a successful global company, this role might be ideal for you.

Job Description:

The Program Director will report to the VP of Professional Services and oversee large, multi-year projects implementing Insurance products and solutions. The role requires extensive project management experience in IT, establishing strong relationships internally and with clients to ensure successful project delivery. The focus will be on implementing world-class PMO standards and operational excellence, managing project scope, timeline, and budget, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves setting PMO standards applicable across all projects to ensure consistency in project management practices throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management and service delivery for multiple large-scale, multi-year projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for project expansion and upselling.
  • Manage and develop project teams, set goals, and monitor progress.
  • Communicate key issues and project updates effectively to all levels, including executives.
  • Identify and analyze problems affecting projects, processes, and teams.
  • Conduct complex technical, financial, and risk assessments.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality to meet objectives; hands-on involvement required.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met and client satisfaction is achieved.
  • Oversee financial forecasts and resource planning.
  • Assess and mitigate project risks.
  • Manage project budgets and expenses.
  • Implement and improve project management processes, methodologies, and tools.

Job Requirements:

  • Bilingual fluency required; strong French communication skills are an advantage.
  • 15+ years of successful project management experience.
  • Proven experience leading software implementation projects, preferably in the Insurance industry.
  • Strong RFP response experience, including crafting responses and creating pricing.
  • Hands-on project management skills managing multiple complex projects within budget and timeline constraints.
  • High-level understanding of the Insurance industry in Canada, including products and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with Product, R&D, and Service Delivery teams.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Agile/Hybrid SDLC methodologies and tools (JIRA & Confluence).
  • Formal project management training; PMP certification is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% or more during peak times.
  • Ability to work with teams across different time zones.
